Welcome to Balanc’d & Busy Bookkeeping and Tax Planning Services ("Balanc’d & Busy", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

Tax planning and preparation

We do not guarantee refunds or outcomes, and all services are based on information provided by the client.

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

Provide truthful and timely information, including income, expenses, and legal documents

Respond to service requests or questions within a reasonable time frame

Review final documentation before submission (tax returns, invoices, etc.)

Make payments on time, per your service agreement or invoice

We are not liable for penalties, fees, or outcomes caused by delays, misinformation, or noncompliance on your part.

4. Fees & Payment Terms

All services are billed as agreed—either flat fee, retainer, or hourly. Payments must be made via our accepted methods (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, QuickBooks, Zelle, etc.).

Late payments may result in:

Suspension of services

Late fees

Termination of the client relationship

No tax documents will be submitted to the IRS or State of Michigan without full payment.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Consultation appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows or last-minute cancellations may be billed at the full rate.

Refunds for services already rendered are not guaranteed but may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, service descriptions, and downloadable documents, are the property of Balanc’d & Busy and protected by U.S. and Michigan intellectual property law. You may not use, share, or reproduce any content without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Michigan law, we shall not be liable for any:

Financial losses

Tax penalties

System outages

Delays in processing due to client errors or third-party software issues

Our liability is strictly limited to the fees paid by the client for the disputed service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services if:

You violate these Terms

You fail to pay fees

You are abusive, uncooperative, or provide fraudulent information

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any legal action must be filed in Wayne County, MI.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the site or services confirms your acceptance of the revised terms.
